After the assassination of a German soldier in Guilliers, 150 people were arrested and brought together the morning of January 20, 1944 in front of the church. Twelve young people of Loyat were deported, 7 of them died in the concentration camp of Mauthausen (Austria).Web: Wikipedia (french)
