1947. Tende joined the County of Nice.
This day, France conducted its last territorial expansion with the addition of the County of Nice and the communes of Tende and Le Brig and the high valleys of Vésubie and Tinée, after the peace treaty signed February 10 in Paris between the Allies and the young Italian Republic.
